(China) – Ground breaking ceremony marks launch of Fujian Yongtai Europark water park, phase one.

Co-developed by Penglai Baxian Tourism Group and the People’s Government of Yongtai County, it is reported the park will include a Geling Polar Aquarium, water park and Europark theme park, receiving a total investment of RMB 12 billion yuan.

The water park, which has received investment of RMB 800 million yuan, features six themed zones and more than 50 leading water attractions including Magic Loop, Space Shuttle, Fantasy Whirl, Hurricane Bay, Adventure Rafts, and family water fun activities. The water park will also offer evening shows, games, and a Caribbean Party – aimed at creating a large water play kingdom and combining thrill, adventure and fantasy with family friendly experiences.

The Polar Aquarium has received RMB 1 billion yuan of investment, will be built into a world-leading indoor comprehensive aquarium including more than 10 themed exhibits including Tropical Rainforests Area, Sea Turtle Island, Shark Bay, underwater Tunnel, Boutique pavilion, 4D theatre, Science pavilion, an underwater theatre showing a Mermaid ballet show and Ocean theatre show, as well as Marine animal performances from dolphins, sea lions, walrus’ and white whales.
