On Dec. 6, 2017, Shanghai Disney Resort announced through the official website that three-level ticket pricing system for ordinary days, peak days and holiday peak days will be put into use from June 6, 2018.

Ordinary day’s price is RMB 399; peak day’s (including summer vacation, weekends and most holidays) price is RMB 575; holiday peak day’s (including spring festival and National Day’s holiday) is RMB 665. Children, seniors and disabled visitors receive a 25% discount off the ticket. Infants get free admission.

The new policy is expected to ease the burden of two holiday peaks: spring festival and National Day’s holiday, channel the visitors flow to ordinary days and other holidays, in order to improve all-year visitor experience. It is also reported the 7th theme zone “Disney Toy Story” will open in 2018 with three whole new attractions and shows opening.
